The TDI shaft seal ring is composed of a high-performance polyurethane U-shaped oil seal and a PTFE-filled slip ring. Its special design can reduce the friction at the root of the oil seal and reduce the residual oil brought by the piston rod. It is generally used together with the dust ring. The PTFE ring has interference and produces stronger pressure on the piston rod after being subjected to oil pressure. Its effect is similar to that of a step seal, so sometimes a single TDI oil seal can replace the serial structure of the main oil seal + buffer ring.
